WALK-IN and RETAIL CUSTOMERS - Unfortunately, we are currently not accepting walk-in tattoo or retail traffic and are unsure when this may change. In the meantime, we’re posting a variety of smaller vintage items to our Etsy shop (@CuriosityShopPgh) and hope you’ll find something fun. To get tattooed, simply request an appointment via this online form and we’d be thrilled to see you in the studio.
TATTOO CLIENTS, PLEASE NOTE - While we are now booking limited appointments, please be aware that we will be exercising enhanced health and safety procedures during all tattoo appointments for the foreseeable future. Both artists and clients will be asked to comply with these procedures which are in place to keep Curiosity Shop a safe place to tattoo, and to get tattooed.

When submitting a tattoo project request, please specify which artist you'd like to work with, and describe in as much detail as you can what you're hoping to do. Let us know where you want to put your new artwork, whether it's a cover-up piece, and any other details you think would help us to get a clearer idea of what you want. You can also feel free to include links or URLs to any specific images you might like. Please know that we do receive quite a few requests and we may not be able to reply to you immediately. However, we will respond to your request as soon as possible! No scheduling by phone call, please.

Hannah's rate is currently $225/hr with a 3 hour session minimum, Jessi's rate is $175/hr Scott’s and Chad’s are $150/hr. Rates for guest artists vary per artist - ask for details when requesting your appointment. You must be 18 with ID to be tattooed at Curiosity Shop. Sorry, no exceptions.

All tattoo appointments require a non-refundable deposit which will be credited towards your tattoo session. Sorry, but all no-shows or cancellations within a 72-hour period will forfeit their deposit.

We respectfully ask that you not bring groups of guests with you to your appointment without prior arrangement - and please, no children. We want this experience to be focused completely on you and your new artwork! We'd be happy to make suggestions for activities in the area for those clients bringing their families - Pittsburgh offers a lot to explore, and we know you'll all have a great time.

Uber and Lyft are both plentiful and there is limited bus service available throughout the city area. .

Also, bicycle rental is available only a few blocks from the shop, with over 500 bikes at 50 stations throughout the city of Pittsburgh. Why not have an adventure while you're here?
